A Sunny Weekend in Long Beach: Adapt Solutions at the Abilities Expo LA 

This past weekend, the Adapt Solutions team had the incredible opportunity to spend three unforgettable days at the Abilities Expo Los Angeles, hosted at the beautiful Long Beach Convention Center. With sunshine pouring through the palm trees, friendly faces at every turn, and an energetic atmosphere centered on innovation and accessibility, the event was everything we hoped it would be and more. 

Showcasing Our Adaptive Mobility Solutions 

Our booth was buzzing throughout the weekend as we showcased the products that make mobility easier, safer, and more empowering for thousands of people every year. From hands-on demonstrations to in-depth conversations about real-world use, we had the chance to show visitors how Adapt Solutions products can simplify transfers, enhance vehicle accessibility, and improve independence. 

It was inspiring to see attendees engage so deeply, asking thoughtful questions, sharing their unique needs, and offering valuable insight that fuels our ongoing commitment to designing solutions that truly matter. 

Connecting With Industry Leaders 

One of the highlights of the Expo was reconnecting with industry partners and meeting new faces who share the same passion for mobility and accessibility. We were thrilled to spend time with teams from BraunAbility, MobilityWorks and Toyota Mobility. 

These conversations not only strengthened our industry ties but also sparked exciting ideas for future collaboration. Events like Abilities Expo remind us that we’re part of a community dedicated to building a more accessible world together. 

Hearing Stories That Inspire Us 

What makes Abilities Expo truly special are the people who attend it. 

Throughout the weekend, we met countless individuals – customers, caregivers, families, clinicians, and advocates – who generously shared their stories. Some told us about challenges they’ve overcome. Others talked about dreams they’re now pursuing thanks to adaptive mobility. 

Each story reminded us why we do what we do. Every product we design has a real impact on real people, and events like this fill us with renewed motivation. 

Events, Sunshine, and… Good Dogs! 

Of course, it wouldn’t be a proper Abilities Expo recap without mentioning one very important group: the service dogs. 

From eager puppies in training to seasoned working companions, the Expo floor was full of wagging tails and warm noses. They brought joy to everyone who passed by and stood as a beautiful reminder of the essential role these animals play in independence and confidence. 

Combine that with the iconic Long Beach sunshine and the lively energy throughout the convention center, and you’ve got a perfect recipe for a feel-good weekend.

We left Abilities Expo LA with full hearts, new ideas, and a renewed commitment to empowering mobility for all.
